| Prominent Ear Surgery A pinback otoplasty is designed to setback prominent
ears. This operation is performed on children after the age of 4. There
is no older age limit to when this procedure can be performed. When
performing this operation, the ears are setback closer to the head and

The incisions are hidden in the back of the ears and special stitches
are placed to roll the ear folds back and setback the ears. There are
many different positions for the stitches to be placed depending on
the appearance of the ears and the desired outcome. During your personal
consultation, Dr. Larson will discuss the surgical
options and outcomes available for you.
